The film is about human reinvention.
Fabian as well as other young men loves sport and beautiful women. His life drastically changed after an accident
Looking at himself in the mirror sitting on his wheel-chair... he looks at the photos of the girls he met ... if only the fable the women's beauty granted him until yesterday could keep on... may his life be the same as before?
But... hey! He has always adored sports... and women adore champions!
He calls up his coach and promises him to become the best tennis player on a wheel chair in Italy.
That is not enough; he wants instil his joy of living by coaching young people in need of rehabilitation at the Montecatone rehabilitation centre (Bologna, Italy).
He travels the world for Olympic Games from Australia to Greece and, at last, Beijing.
In the meanwhile he meets a girl... she seems to be the love of his life. But, when Fabian come back home she split up with him.
Fabian, deeply dejected, feels that being a champion is not enough, not being enough for the girl he love.
He reinvents himself once again restarting from a previous aspiration. He will become a singer. Surely, he will find the way to enlarge his relationships, won't he?
He writes his songs together with his gym mates and some of his pupils and, not dropping tennis, he is getting ready for the Festival of Sanremo contest...
