Gino
Gino is an oppressive father who has already made up his mind about his son's future. Carlo is a talented, young soccer player, a serious responsibility for the son of a flower-seller and a railway worker, a former goalie to whom nature denied the centimeters needed to make him a great champ. Torn between love for soccer and for his father, and his great desire to continue his studies, Carlo meets Ivan, his total opposite, with whom he establishes an amazing friendship. Just when everybody is ready to consecrate the new champ, Carlo decides to abandon football and enroll in University. This new world, however, is so different from the world of sports that nothing seems to go right. His father's shadow keeps hanging over his path towards his new identity, seeking his true passion: to be a storyteller.
