Film Bidone
Cirque Bidon is an itinerant community of street performers, very similar to the travelling Commedia dell'Arte companies that wandered between Italy and France in the Middle Ages. For over 25 years the company has been performing in large and small towns all over France and Italy. It survives thanks to audience donations, offering a very polished production, but one in any case rich in poetry . Its members have chosen to live in caravans, many of which they built themselves. By their example, they have inspired many to believe that it is possible to live out their dreams as free spirits. Cristina herself, the maker of this documentary, experienced this lifestyle for four years, and knows first hand the day-to-day difficulties and contradictions.
