born in Milan in 1978.
In 2000 he graduated from the State Institute of Experimental Art in Monza, specializing in visual communication. He continued his studies at the Civic Cinema School of Milan where, even before receiving his degree, he was holding evening classes.
In 2001 he produced a video portrait of Paola Maugeri for MTV.
From 2002 to 2006 he worked with Studio Azzurro as a video editor and lecturer for editing seminars held at the Department of Art Music and Theatre (DAMS) of the University of Palermo.
In 2004 he made a series of documentaries in 7 episodes on African , Cinese, and Iranian cinema for the Italian television channel "Cult".
In 2005 he participated in the Locarno Film Festival with a documentary on Barbara Hoffman, on which he worked as director and editor. The following year his documentary about the kidnapping of women and children in China partecipated in the Festival in Cannes.
Since 2006 he has been working as a freelance filmmaker, producing shorts,educational videos, documentaries and short television features.
In 2008 together with four other Milanese directors, he founded the group MANYHANDS.
